Five must-install Chrome Extensions and Apps

  1. Scribble

It's a note taking app not that much unlike the Chrome OS bundled Scratchpad. One difference is that the UI is way nicer. I like the Post-It feel of the application.

  2. Todo.ly

This is one of the better GTD apps I've seen in a while. The only thing that would make it better is offline syncing.

  3. TweetDeck

I know it's been mentioned before but I really have to hand it to the TweetDeck guys for making a native Chrome application rather than making the app be sophisticated bookmark to their site. The TweetDeck app uses HTML5 so it isn't a drain at all on the battery and I keep it running almost constantly.

  4. iReader

iReader removes the cruft from blogs and news sites so that you can read material without distractions.

  5. 1-ClickWeather for Chrome Created by The Weather Channel, this handy little extension allows you to see weather information for a given city.
